Sandeep Mukherjee’s two-part exhibition at Cottage Home and Sister galleries in Los Angeles was the Los Angeles gallery pick in the January 2009 issue of ‘Art in America’.  Critic Michael Duncan writes: “In this two-venue exhibition, L.A. artist Sandeep Mukherjee–one of the city’s most underrated midcareer artists–revealed the full blossoming of his recent abstract turn. … Exploring both macrocosmic and microcosmic space, Mukherjee’s transcendent works share the spirit of great nature-based abstractions by such antecendents as Richard Pousette-Dart and Agnes Pelton.”
